Shipping Policy
We at SANKALANA know how important it is for you to receive your purchased products in the finest condition, and on time. So, we use a large network of reputed and reliable couriers to deliver your products to you as early as possible.

Shipping Locations: We operate and deliver at almost all major locations. However, we may not be able to deliver at certain locations due to logistical and courier partner limitations. You can know about the serviceability for your location by checking your Pin code on the page of the product you wish to buy or at the time of checkout.

Shipping Charges: In most of the cases, we provide free delivery subjected to a minimum order value, however if the order does not qualify for free shipping a minimal shipping charges may apply and this would be for you to review during the checkout. Shipping Charges given in the checkout page are final and doesn’t have any hidden costs or additional charges. The price mentioned on the website is the final, and all taxes are inclusive.

Delivery Time: We take approximately around 3-10 business days to deliver the product to your location after the order has been dispatched. However, in extreme cases, it may take longer to ship the product. In such cases you will be intimated well in advance.

Shipping Method: We Ship orders either through reputed courier services or through our aligned partners located near you. In case of products shipped through courier, you will be getting the details like Courier Company, Airway Bill Number etc so that you can track your consignments. If you receive your product in a damaged condition, you are advised not to accept it. In case there is any other issue with the product and you accept it, please write the suitable remark in the POD (proof of delivery) document. For more details please check the Returns Policy.

Order Tracking: Once your order is complete you will receive the Order Confirmation through email and SMS on your registered e-mail ID and phone numbers, respectively. Once it is processed you will again be intimated similarly through an email and SMS.

If you have purchased online while logged in, you will be able to track the shipment from your account dashboard. However, if you shopped as a guest you will need to mail us at info@thesankalana.com with all the purchase details.
Return Policy
It is important to note that SANKALANA makes its best efforts to ensure that returns, refunds, and cancellations are available to its users and guests, the Company has to place certain restrictions on the same in order to meet its business, legal, and contractual obligations.

The Policy foresees the terms and conditions under which:

  • You are allowed to return/exchange the product(s) that you purchased, ONLY If you receive the product(s) in damaged condition or if you receive the product(s) other than you ordered.
  • In case you receive a damaged/defective product, the company should be notified within 24 hours on receipt. We might request you to share pictures.
  • Returns/exchange request needs to be filed within 2 days from the product(s) received
  • Approval of returns/exchange is subjected to our inspection.
  • Returns/exchange will not be approved if the products are opened/used
  • Any returned item received by us that does not meet the above-mentioned conditions will not be accepted, and will be returned to the customer at their expense. No amount will be reimbursed in this case.
  • Our reverse pick-up facility is currently available only in select locations, which fall under the service network of our courier partners.
  • In case of orders where reverse pick-up may not apply, customers can self-ship the items to us using speed post or a reliable courier service. In this case, an amount of Rs. 50 will be reimbursed in the customer’s account towards shipping costs in the form of a coupon code. This will be done post the quality check of all the received items. In this case, we are not responsible for any loss/damage/delay during transit which is initiated by you.
  • If you choose to self-ship the products, they should be dispatched within 48 hours after the return request is raised.
  • Please make sure that the returned items are packed securely to prevent any loss or damage during transit.

  • You are allowed to cancel the orders for product(s) purchased by you, before it has been shipped.
Return Process
You can return or exchange an item online at SANKALANA by following the below steps.

  • Log in to ‘My Account' section and navigate to ‘My Orders’.
  • Select the product that needs to be returned/exchanged
  • Follow the steps and fill in the required information to complete the process.
  • You will receive a notification on your registered E- mail upon successfully completing the return process.
  • Shipping Charges shall be non-refundable.
Refund options
The customer can choose to receive their refund in the following ways:

  • Cash refund via bank transfer into their account for all COD orders. In this case customers should send us their account details in which they prefer to receive the refund amount.
  • Refund to the paid account/ card for all online payments.
  • Optionally, a Coupon Code of the refund value in your SANKALANA account, which can be redeemed against any future purchases. You may check the issued Coupon Code under the ‘Coupons’ section, by clicking on ‘My Account’.
Cancellation Policy
All orders are automatically processed on our secure merchant processor and sent for shipment as soon as they are placed. During this process we incur irreversible fees. Therefore, while we understand that orders might need to be changed sometimes, we are unable to do it for free of charge after a certain point. We strictly adhere to the following cancellation policy:

  • If you cancel your order BEFORE it has been shipped, you will NOT be charged.
  • If you cancel your order AFTER it has been shipped, please follow our Return Policies & Procedures. This cancellation will be treated as a Return with all applicable fees.
  • Orders which are REFUSED AT DELIVERY, without any valid reason, will be treated as returns with all applicable fees.
  • We reserve the right to cancel any order without any explanation for doing so, as per the circumstances where the requirement could not be met. The company will ensure that any communication of cancellation of an order or any applicable refund will be made in reasonable time.
Cash On Delivery Policy
As per the Cash on Delivery policy:

  • Some of the products sold on this website MAY NOT be eligible for COD.
  • To avail COD Service, all items in the cart should be eligible for COD.
  • COD is eligible on a minimum order value of Rs. 1 and maximum of Rs. 5000 only.
  • Pin code provided for Cash on Delivery orders should be in the serviceable area, if not, online payment method needs to be used.
  • You cannot open the package without making the payment at the time of delivery.
  • If the package is opened at the time of delivery do not accept the order.
  • No credit/debit cards are accepted in Cash on Delivery.
Cash Back & Coupons
  • Cash back and Coupons may not be applicable for all the products on the website.
  • Special coupons should be redeemed within the limited period. Validity, once expired, cannot be extended.
  • Two or multiple offers cannot be clubbed together using the coupons.
  • SANKALANA reserves the right to cancel any coupons and the transactions in which they are used. This is not applicable on Cash back Promo Codes.
  • Cash back and Coupon cannot be clubbed together to avail an offer at SANKALANA.
  • If coupons are used in an offer, Cash back cannot be generated.
  • Cash back amount is subjected to change at the sole discretion of SANKALANA.

This Policy applies to all items purchased directly from SANKALANA. The policy is subject to change without any notification and hence, we suggest you to read this policy from time to time.
